Come See Our Modern Glamour Kitchen and Meet Our Designers in Person at the ASID Kitchen & Bath Tour on October 26th!

Jackson Design and Remodeling is happy to announce that our work will be featured on the American Society of Interior Designers’ 2013 Kitchen & Bath Tour on Saturday, October 26th. The tour, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., will showcase 8 beautifully remodeled kitchens and baths at residences in San Diego County. JDR will be showing our Modern Glamour Kitchen, designed by Sol Quintana Wagoner, in Point Loma. Sol and other JDR staff will be on the tour to meet design enthusiasts in person.

Modern Glamour Kitchen

A professional couple with an appetite for glamorous entertaining wanted a more inviting kitchen to welcome large groups of friends and family. The clients are colorful and fun and wanted this spirit reflected in their home. A circular sparkling chandelier hanging from a metallic silver ceiling is the first thing one sees upon entering the house, immediately establishing a mood of excitement and glamour. The dining area, kitchen and bar are in an expansive living area defined by sweeping vaulted ceilings. The room glitters with purple, silver and charcoal hues. At the far end of the kitchen, a seductively lit bar opens to the backyard where the clients frequently entertain poolside. Throughout the expansive area, careful attention to lighting, materials and space planning creates a sense of intimacy and welcoming warmth.
