Warm Textures & a Natural Palette
In this modern farmhouse by the beach, indoor/outdoor living is maximized to take advantage of the beautiful setting. Warm textures balance with neutral tones to create an environment that mixes visual and tactile appeal. Reclaimed wood elements, rattan lighting, and earthy decor were selected for their calming connection to the natural world. Large scale furniture designed for comfort emphasizes the coziness of the space on the cooler nights hastened in by autumn’s arrival. 

Bold Color & Architecture
A fireplace surrounded by a wall of tile that resembles rustic wood planks is the focal point of this inviting master bedroom in a modern seaside home. The extensive whole home remodel was designed for a couple with two children who moved from a rural environment and wanted to embrace coastal living in their stunning home situated in a quirky bohemian beach town. The original beams were retained and painted a dark charcoal to align with the home’s new exterior. The blue wall behind the bed aligns with the blue exterior walls as well. At the foot of the bed, a fantastic view of the ocean is paramount.

Joyful & Welcoming
With colors inspired by sea glass and sand dunes, this home designed for a retired beach loving client and her cherished dog, Molly, invites relaxation in any season. Previously dark and cramped, this cheerful living space feels bright and fresh. The limestone fireplace is designed with two finishes – polished and honed – which creates a three dimensional effect with a texture that is silky to the touch. The client displays some of her favorite coastal objects on the custom mantle.
