Accounts Payable Specialist

As an Accounts Payable Specialist for Jackson Design and Remodeling, Oscar’s two decades of experience are vital. He is an adept problem solver who brings a sense of calm and flexibility to a role that balances multiple deadlines on JDR’s fast-paced Accounting team. Oscar recognized that he was good with numbers from an early age and studied Accounting at San Diego City College. He then refined his skills in a series of increasingly responsible roles, building on his natural affinity for finding solutions and assuring accuracy. Highly organized and detail oriented, Oscar’s multiple responsibilities include processing invoices from outside sources, reviewing invoices to ensure proper coding and approval, resolving vendor inquiries, check processing, and reconciling balance sheets. He appreciates the well-defined systems and processes that JDR has created and the culture of teamwork and collaboration. When he’s not at work, Oscar can often be found enjoying the arts at the movies or a concert.
