PROJECT SUMMARY

With colors inspired by sea glass and sand dunes, this kitchen designed for a retired beach loving client and her cherished dog welcomes cooking, entertaining, and visits from her daughters. Universal design elements were subtly integrated for aging in place. Previously dark and cramped, the kitchen is now full of natural light and open to a dining area, a cozy living space with a dramatic fireplace, and a pretty backyard. A stunning Arabesque pattern backsplash and a countertop with a “big wave” pattern are thoughtful design details. This organized and inviting kitchen communicates a cheerful seaside spirit.
