PROJECT SUMMARY
This Pacific Beach home had an ideal location, but the panoramic views could only be enjoyed from the roof. The whole home was transformed to take full advantage of its amazing natural surroundings. The homeowners are a young, well-travelled couple with dual careers and an active lifestyle. They were looking for a dramatic upgrade in style and functionality for their home, but they also wanted the house to look as if it naturally belonged in its environment.
Significant changes were made to the home’s exterior, including the addition of an expansive deck. A third level was added and the second floor was converted from two bedrooms to one master bedroom and an extra large walk-in closet. The bottom floor was remodeled to include a guest bath, guest bedroom and office. The result is a stunningly modern home that takes ideal advantage of its surroundings, while more perfectly aligning with the homeowners’ needs and lifestyle.
